Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026. This policy explains how Compute Peak handles your information when you visit our website.
1. Who we are
Compute Peak ("we", "us", "our") provides infrastructure orchestration software for Proxmox environments. Our website is
computepeak.com. For any privacy-related questions you can reach us at
infra@computepeak.com.
2. What data we collect
We are committed to minimising data collection. Our website does not:
- Use analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party tracking tools
- Set cookies or use local/session storage for tracking purposes
- Collect personal data through forms — we have no contact form on this website
- Store any visitor data on our servers
The only personal data we may receive is information you voluntarily provide when:
- Sending us an email — when you click our contact link, your email client opens. We receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message.
- Booking a demo call — demo scheduling is handled by Cal.com, a third-party scheduling platform. When you book a call through cal.eu/computepeak/30min, Cal.com collects your name, email address and any notes you provide. Please refer to Cal.com's Privacy Policy for details on how they process your data.
3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Art. 6)
Where we process personal data, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Consent — you initiate contact by sending us an email or booking a call.
- Legitimate interest — responding to your enquiry and providing the service you requested.
- Legal obligation — complying with applicable laws when required.
4. How we use your information
When you contact us by email or schedule a demo call, we use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Conduct the scheduled demo call
- Provide follow-up information you have requested
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than responding to your direct request.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- Cal.com — processes booking data when you schedule a demo call. Cal.com acts as a data processor under their own privacy policy.
- Email provider — standard email infrastructure processes email communications.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other analytics or tracking technology. No cookie consent banner is needed because no cookies are set.
7. Data retention
We retain email correspondence only for as long as necessary to address your enquiry or maintain the business relationship. Demo booking data is retained by Cal.com according to their retention policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing
infra@computepeak.com.
8. Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
-
Right of access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
-
Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
-
Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
-
Right to restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.
-
Right to data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
-
Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
-
Right to withdraw consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at
infra@computepeak.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International data transfers
If data is transferred outside the EEA (for example, through email infrastructure or Cal.com), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions, in compliance with GDPR Chapter V.
10. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we process against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. Given that we collect minimal data, the attack surface is inherently limited.
11. Children's privacy
Our website and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
